Zumba Fundraiser for CMHA
Cornwall, Ontario
- A group of Zumba instructors will be using their high-energy dance moves and
music to drown out the silence surrounding suicide at a new fundraising event. Zumba Plus, a fundraiser in support of the
Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), is taking place on Friday, May 2,
from 6 to 9 p.m., at Saint Lawrence Secondary School (SLSS). "The Zumba
community recently lost a dear friend to mental illness, we are hosting this
event in honor of her, Monique Rozon," said Zumba Plus co-organizers
Jasmine Delage and Adele Wilson. In early March, an event in her honor raised
$1,200 for the CMHA. But Angela Pilon, Rozon's daughter, and local businesses
dedicated to health and well-being aren't stopping there. www.fundraisingweb.org
