fundraising for a good cause. This year
it features chefs from 11 restaurants dazzling diners with creative foods and
some over-the-top presentations. It now benefits three charitable groups. It's
Philanthropic Foodies, a fundraiser that this year will benefit Friends of
Dorothy House, Stupid Dumb Breast Cancer and First Tee Syracuse. The food and
beverage pairing is Sunday at Sky Armory. A minimum donation of $100 per person

As Seen On TV Fundraising Event

NY - Core Artist Ensemble will
present As Seen on TV, the company's second annual fundraising event, on
Thursday at the TBG Theatre. The evening will feature selected readings from
beloved TV shows past and present, as well as live music, TV trivia, raffle
prizes, concessions-including wine, cocktails, Brooklyn Brewery beers, and free

Family Fundraiser More Like Family Reunion
Chino Valley, AZ - A weekend
fundraiser for Chino Valley resident Dave O'Brien felt more like a warm, family
reunion. Friends and family hosted a
benefit auction and fundraising event at O'Brien's home on Saturday, July 25.
According to organizer Dee Dee Jones, she hoped to raise $55,000 toward her
friend's lung transplant expenses. While the tally didn't quite meet the goal,

Hockey 4 Wishes Fundraiser Also Grants a Boy's Wish
Ottawa, ON - It’s
called “Hockey 4 Wishes,” A fundraisers which is 24 hours of playing hockey for
Tysen Lefebvre’s “Mission To A Million” in support of Make-A-Wish Eastern
Ontario. And for this year’s fourth
annual “Hockey 4 Wishes” fundraiser, the Bell Sensplex on Maple Grove Road in
Kanata not only saw hockey played around the clock for 24 hours but also was
the site of the granting of a wish. It happened just after noon last
Saturday when players and supporters gathering in the corner of one of the
