The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA) will be hosting Art with
Heart, its annual benefit art auction. This year marks the 6th year for this
fundraising event with all proceeds benefiting HSNEGA’s mission of supporting
at-need animals in the community through spay/neuter/wellness services and
rescue/adoption. Presented by McDonald’s
of Northeast Georgia, Art with Heart 2015 will take place at the Chattahoochee
Country Club. The event will feature fine art, folk art, pottery, woodworking,
sculpture and other types of artwork donated by renowned national and regional
artists. All artwork will be available for silent auction during the event, and

Fundrising Events Planned to Celebrate City's 200th Anniversary
Cherry Creek, NY–
The community of Cherry Creek will celebrate its 200th anniversary this year
with a kickoff fundraising event at the Trillium Lodge. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Live,
acoustic guitar music will be provided and there will be a grand prize drawing
for an overnight accommodation at the Turkey Roast Cabin with dinner at the
Trillium Lodge. The Community
Association fundraiser is planned to help pay for costs of events throughout
the year. The group plans to purchase commemorative flags to hang throughout
Cherry Creek. Other events include a
parade on June 27 with local businesses portraying historical aspects of the

Family Fun(d) Night Fundraising Event
Iowa City, IA - The
Iowa City Public Library will host a Family Fun(d) Night fundraiser to raise
money for its children and teen programs.
The event will feature carnival games, music from local artist Dave
Moore, a photo booth, Valentine’s Day craft-making and plenty of pizza donated
by Pagliai’s. “We’ll have fruits and vegetables there too, but pizza draws the

Water Ball Fundraising Event for Charity: Water
Syracuse, NY - Café
Kubal is hosting Water Ball Friday evening, an event that will raise funds and
awareness for Charity: Water, in the hopes that it will spark fundraising for
the rest of the year. “Charity: Water
builds wells and water systems in areas that we get our coffee beans from. It
was a no-brainer,” said Nate Palumbo, project manager for the Water Ball. All of the proceeds from the event will go
toward building wells and water systems in water scarce areas. Aspects of the
event include live music, food and drink, a cash bar and a silent auction. The
event is a scaled back version of the annual Water Ball hosted in New York by

Barrel Racing and Team Roping Fundraising Event
Melfort, SK, Canada -Creekside
Arena in Melfort hosted a barrel racing and team roping jackpot on Saturday,
January 24. The proceeds of the event
were directed towards Ken Morgan, who was injured in an accident in the summer.
There was a large turnout at the arena,
with SBRA barrel racing beginning in the morning and team roping was in the
afternoon. Participants came from both
the local area, and as far away as North Battleford, Saskatoon and Lanigan. Raylene Carlson of Creekside Arena explained
that some larger scale sponsorship did occur in order for the riders to still
be able to earn prize money. Entry fees and the rest of the proceeds were

Fundraiser to Help Conservationists Preserve the Atchahalaya Basin
Lafayette, LA - There
was a festive atmosphere at Artmosphere Bistro Sunday as the restaurant held a
fundraiser to help conservationists to preserve the Atchafalaya Basin. Area bands and artists joined forces with the
Atchafalaya Basinkeeper project to host a Save the Basin fundraiser. Local
bands such as Sweet Cecilia, recent Grammy-nominee Yvette Landry with Richard
Comeaux, and Vermont's Easy Street performed at the event. There was also a silent art auction with 10
