Taste of the Town Fundraising Event

Malejko was licking his fingers. That's
how good the carrot cake from Rik's Cafe was, though the Hagerstown resident
also was quick to point out he also enjoyed tastings from Misty Meadow Farm
Creamery and Stonewall Tavern. Malejko
was one of more than 500 people in a packed ballroom at Hager Hall Conference
& Event Center on Sunday for Reach of Washington County's annual Taste of
the Town. "We come every year. ...
It's a great fundraising event," said Malejko, 71, of Hagerstown. Seventeen restaurants and caterers donated
