Dance Marathon Fundraiser at Texas Tech for Children's Miracle Network

Lubbock, TX - Texas Tech University’s student-run philanthropy, RaiderThon, begins 2016 with an event in February benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network.  RaiderThon will host its fifth annual Dance Marathon from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Texas Tech Recreation Center. This fundraising event benefits the Children’s Miracle Network by raising money and awareness with a gymnasium full of marathon dancers.  Registration fee includes a RaiderThon T-shirt, meals and access to the Dance Marathon event.  www.fundraising-ideas.org 

Color Run Fundraising Event Planned

Carlisle, Cumbria, England - Vibrant colors will brighten up Carlisle later this year as fundraisers transform themselves from a blank canvas into a rainbow of color in aid of the local charity.  Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice will transform Carlisle Racecourse with a blast of powdered paint at their second Color Run event.  Earlier this year the local charity hosted its first Color Run which attracted more than 1,500 fundraisers to Carlisle Racecourse for a day of fun with all of the family. www.fundraising-ideas.org 

"Wine, Dine and Win" Wine Tasting, Dinner, and Casino Fundraising Event

Voorhees, NJ – The Evesham Education Foundation’s annual Wine, Dine and Win fundraising event will be at The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees.  The event will feature the tasting of hundreds of wines and spirits from around the world provided courtesy of Wineworks, which sponsors the event, along with Oak Mortgage.  There will also be culinary samplings provided by the executive chefs at The Mansion, as well as many other local restaurants.  Admission tickets for the wine-tasting/casino night event are $75; VIP tickets are $125.  www.fundraising-ideas.org

Resthaven Horse Rescue Hosts First Ever Fundraising Event

Northfield, MN - Recently founded by three like-minded women, Resthaven Horse Rescue is preparing to introduce itself to a much larger audience with its first fundraising event, slated for Feb. 6 at the Grand Event Center in Northfield.  The event, sponsored by Farmers Mill and Elevator in Castle Rock, includes live entertainment, a raffle and silent auction.  One of the group’s co-founders, Kat Rohl, said the rescue was established to save horses from the Cannon Falls area that are bound for slaughter in either Canada or Mexico.  www.fundraising-ideas.org 

MJCS Hosts Rock n Roll Fundraiser

Malibu, CA - The Malibu Jewish Center and Synagogue hosted a Rock the Night Away fundraising event for its preschool and other education programs on Friday.  The event featured the music and talents of Malibu resident and Lenny Goldsmith and the NEW OLD. Auction items were donated and assembled by the parents, featuring art work and fun, usable items. Guests Go Back To Ancient Rome at Fundraising Event

Anderson, CA - Greeted by Neptune, Diana and Mercury, Anderson County Museum guests traveled back in time Sunday to ancient Rome as they walked under a stone facade arch.  Slightly more than 300 patrons enjoyed food, music and friends at this year's Winter Night Gala fundraising event at the museum.  This year, the gala's theme corresponded with the Anderson International Festival theme: Italy.
