Firefighters in Tillamook Get Ready for Annual Fundraising Stair-Climb in Seattle

Tillamook, OR - Tillamook Fire District volunteer firefighters and members of the Tillamook Firefighters Stair-climb Team plan to work-out on stair-climbers from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday to raise pledges and get ready to compete at the event in March, in Seattle. Roughly 1,800 firefighters from throughout the world participate in the annual 69-flight stair-climb fundraiser in hopes of curing leukemia and other blood cancers.  www.fundraising-ideas.org 

"The Big Share" is an Online Fundraising Event

Madison, WI - Community Shares of Wisconsin, a Madison-based nonprofit organization focused on social and environmental advocacy, will be hosting an online fundraising event.  CSW’s event, known as “The Big Share,” will take place in the form of online donations and social media promotion. A Chair Affair Fundraising Event

Rochester, NY - In the 14 years since it began, A Chair Affair has become one of Rochester's premier fundraising galas, raising money that accounts for 20 percent of the Boys & Girls Club's annual budget. In that time, hundreds of locally made chairs have been auctioned off.  Last year, the event raised $305,000 for the nonprofit, and this year, organizers are shooting for $335,000 by selling off 40 chairs made by local artisans.  www.fundraising-ideas.org 

3rd Annual Forks and Corks Fundraising Event

La Crescent, MN -   The 3rd annual Forks and Corks event is set for Thursday. The evening of fine wines expertly matched with gourmet cuisine is a fundraising event for the Gemütlichkeit Foundation's scholarship program, raising money for scholarships for local graduating seniors in La Crosse County and La Crescent.  The evening will include six gourmet tastes of upscale savory cuisine including Pogreba's mouthwatering petite key lime pie dessert, elegantly paired with hand selected red and white wines.  www.fundraising-ideas.org 

March of the Mods Fundraising Event

Reading, England - March of The Mods is back for its fourth year with another fundraising drive in Reading.  The annual charity event in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust is being held at The Facebar in Reading on Friday.  The event starts at 3pm and will run until 2am with a total of seven bands and four DJs performing throughout the day.  Prior to the start of the event, there is a rideout which has been organized by Richard from Carnaby Scooters. www.fundraising-ideas.org 

Oklahoma's Speaker's Ball is a Grand Fundraising Event for Charity

Enid, OK - Enid rolled out the red carpet for more than 800 state legislators, officials and Enid city leaders Sunday night at the 2016 Oklahoma Speaker’s Ball.  The Speaker’s Ball picks an organization to support each year, and this year’s fundraising went to the Food for Kids Backpack Program, by the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, founded in 2003 which provides backpacks of nutritious food, at no cost, for students to eat over the weekend.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
