Dallas, TX - DFW Rescue Me helps severely abused, neglected and abandoned dogs off the streets and help them find forever homes.  To help the nonprofit continue their mission, NBC 5 and Barking Hound Village, a boutique doggy day care, will host its 7th annual "Kibbles and Cocktails" fundraising event Thursday at The Empire Room in Dallas. Hops for Habitat Fundraiser

Owatonna, MN - A fundraiser new to the Habitat for Humanity of Steele-Waseca Area will help raise funds for the organization’s next home build.  The organization holds an event called “Hops for Habitat” next Saturday at the Steele County Four Seasons Centre in Owatonna. The beer-tasting event is an idea that has been floating around for the Steele-Waseca affiliate for about three or four years. There are 18 breweries confirmed for the event, and each will bring three or four different beers. Live music will start at about 3 p.m. Attendees will have the chance to vote for which brewery will receive a “People’s Choice Award” that will be handed out at the end of the night.  www.fundraising-ideas.org

April Fundraising Event at SouthPark Mall to Benefit Area Schools

Strongsville, OH — Shoppers at SouthPark Mall will have the opportunity to support art programs at Strongsville City Schools in April. The shopping complex is hosting a fundraiser for arts funding on April 14. The funds will benefit seven different Strongsville schools. The fundraiser will take place in the mall's Center Court. Shoppers will be able to win prizes while taking part in a variety of activities, all of which will benefit the school systems. Big Slick Celebrity Weekend Fundraiser Back for Ninth Year

Kansas City, MO - Big Slick Celebrity Weekend is back for its ninth fundraising effort. Tickets for the public events will go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday.  The star-studded fundraiser, hosted by Kansas City comedians Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, David Koechner and Eric Stonestreet, will return June 1 and 2.  This year, celebrities will participate in a softball game at Kauffman Stadium, a bowling tournament at Pinstripes, and the Big Slick party and auction at the Midland.  www.fundraising-ideas.org 

The Joint Annual Fundraiser for The Welders Playwright Group

Goat Yoga Fundraiser! Yes... Goat Yoga!

Indianapolis, IN - Yoga lovers and animal lovers can both get their fill of their hobbies at an upcoming fundraising event of Goat Yoga in April, hosted by the Johnson County 4-H Goat Club. The fundraising event will go to help build a shelter outside the goat and sheep barn at the fairgrounds. The exercisers should expect the playfulness.  The baby goats will climb on them while they are dropping into yoga poses.
