Georgetown, SC - The
sun hid behind the clouds, but the rain stayed a safe distance away Saturday,
while 150 paddlers in kayaks made their way down Black Mingo Creek for the 6th
annual Tara Hall Paddle Fest. The event
is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Tara Hall Home for Boys which
accepts neglected, troubled and abused boys in Georgetown County. The
Christ-centered, long-term residential school strives to develop moral, social,
educational and life skills, thus building responsible contributing adults,
while providing services to their families. www.fundraising-ideas.org
