Fights Cancer Round 3 fundraising event raised $7 million to benefit the
Abramson Cancer Center at Penn Medicine.
The event at The Navy Yard in Philadelphia Saturday featured special
guest Whoopi Goldberg and musical performances by singer John Legend, Caly
Bevier and legendary group Earth, Wind & Fire. More than 1,500 VIP guests were also in
attendance. The main purpose to the
event was to raise money and awareness to supporting the clinical trials and
translational research at the University of Pennsylvania Abramson Cancer
