- Homeward Bound Pet Shelter officials say they will host their "Dog Days
of Summer" 12-hour fundraiser on Wednesday. The fundraiser will be held at three Land of
Lincoln Credit Union locations in Decatur. Volunteers and adoptable pets
will be at all three locations to receive donations during this event. As part of this event, Homeward Bound Pet
Shelter will be selling Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. The doughnuts will be
sold for $7 per dozen, and can be picked up at the Land of Lincoln locations,
