Dance Marathon Fundraising Event

Lincoln, NE - “We dance for those who can’t.”  The Dance Marathon’s mission statement is what makes the organization unlike any other fundraising event.  The nationwide movement is organized by college and high school students at more than 150 schools across the country that raise money for their community’s Children’s Miracle Network.  The event itself is exactly like how it sounds. Dancing is definitely involved, and the event can be anywhere from 12, 24 or even 48 hours.  Students are asked to stay on their feet for the entirety of the event through dancing, games and entertainment to celebrate the funds that have been raised for that year.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
