24 Hour Runathon Fundraisers in Three Cities to Fight Human Trafficing

Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong - Imagine teenagers running from their captors for days after being forced to work in sweatshops against their will, away from their homes and families.  This is the message some 2,000 students from Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong wanted to get across in the 24 Hour Race events, held simultaneously in all three cities.  What was unique about this fundraising event was that it was fully organized from start to finish by the students themselves, with minimal guidance from the 24 Hour Race headquarters in Hong Kong and was completely funded through corporate sponsorship.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
