Seattle, WA - The UW’s
local Operation Smile chapter took over the Ethnic Cultural Center on Friday,
Dec. 4 with a black light, glow in the dark streamers, and glow sticks,
illuminating the room as people did yoga.
This was one of the many events Operation Smile University of Washington
Chapter (OPSUW) puts on each year to help children and young adults from around
the world with free cleft lip and palate surgeries. The money raised went to
the chapter’s international medical charity, which has a network of medical
professionals and hospitals to improve the lives of children.
