Crowds Braves the Weather at Fair on the Square Fundraising Event

Danville, IN — The Danville Tri Kappa philanthropic organization hosted its annual fundraising event, Fair on the Square, this past weekend.  Although overcast weather kept some patrons and vendors away, Tri Kappa’s Fair on the Square Chair Nicole O’Brien said she was still enjoying herself and making the most of the event.  “We’ve had a lot of cancellations this year due to weather and various other things,” O’Brien said. “Once it started to dry out and the sun came out, it’s been really nice.”  With this being Tri Kappa’s largest fundraising event for the last 30 years, O’Brien said the funds raised in those two days would help cover scholarships and grants next year.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
