Hops for Habitat Fundraiser

Owatonna, MN - A fundraiser new to the Habitat for Humanity of Steele-Waseca Area will help raise funds for the organization’s next home build.  The organization holds an event called “Hops for Habitat” next Saturday at the Steele County Four Seasons Centre in Owatonna. The beer-tasting event is an idea that has been floating around for the Steele-Waseca affiliate for about three or four years. There are 18 breweries confirmed for the event, and each will bring three or four different beers. Live music will start at about 3 p.m. Attendees will have the chance to vote for which brewery will receive a “People’s Choice Award” that will be handed out at the end of the night.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
