Three Designers Win Triad Goodwill's Rock the Runway Fundraiser

Greensboro, NC - Three local designers took home awards as Triad Goodwill presented its ninth annual Rock the Runway Fashion Fundraiser on Friday.  Seven student, amateur and professional designers each showcased collections of seven looks reconstructed from items found in Triad Goodwill stores. This year, the collections were each inspired by a decade — from the 1940s through the early 2000s.  Proceeds from the evening benefit Triad Goodwill’s mission of providing free career development services for the un- and underemployed in Alamance, Caswell, Guilford, Randolph and Rockingham counties..    www.fundraising-ideas.org
