Detroit, MI - The Beach Boys will be in Detroit to headline the fundraising concert of the 2017 Detroit auto show.  The band is a good fit for the event as cars has been a frequent theme of its songs in its 50-plus years, including "Little Deuce Coupe," "409" and "Fun, Fun, Fun."  2016's event grossed $5.2 million and netted an estimated $4.2 million to local children's charities, the show's organizers said last month.  www.fundraising-ideas.org 

Art in the Park Fundraising Event Under the Lahaina Banyan Tree

Maui, HI - The Lahaina Arts Society will begin celebrating 49 years of supporting Maui’s artist community this week while also fundraising for its charity that provides creative arts experiences to youth.  The nonprofit LAS will hold “Art in the Park”  Saturday under the Lahaina Banyan Tree. The event will feature live music, face-painting, a tie-dye workshop, birthday cake and more. Fundraising Event for Therapeutic Riding School

Jonesboro, AR-- Jonesboro's Diego Ranch held a fundraising event Sunday to bring awareness to the Therapeutic Riding School. Michael Jackson, the president of the non-profit, said they work with children with Autism and disabilities.  Kids got the chance to come out and ride a horse, as well as meet friendly ponies there.  Jackson says the therapeutic riding helps the children mentally and physically.  He says Diego Ranch has been in service for eight months with several parents unaware of how helpful horse riding can be for children in need of therapy.  www.fundraising-ideas.org

Fundraising Concert for Earthquake Relief
