Walgreen's Hosting Horseshoe Tossing Fundraiser for Red Nose Day


Columbus, OH – Walgreens in Columbus will be switching up its annual Red Nose Day by having a horseshoe tournament. The fundraiser will be held Saturday at the horseshoe ring located at Pawnee Park. Red Nose Day is an international fundraising program hosted to raise money to end childhood poverty. The campaign started in London and branched out to the U.S. four years ago. Phantom Ball is a "Non-Event" Fundraiser


Tupelo, MS – The Tupelo/Lee County Community Foundation will host its annual major fundraiser in April, but this year’s Phantom Ball is a “non-event” for which guests are invited to not attend. The nonprofit sent out a teaser card at the beginning of March, followed by a letter offering the details of the ball that was never to be. This year, CREATE will offer a challenge grant to the Foundation, matching 50 percent of every contribution up to $200,000 to go towards building the endowment fund.  www.fundraising-ideas.org

Concert and Fundraiser Huge Success for Vail Christian HS


Edwards, CO — Vail Christian High School's first independent fundraising event was a huge success, school officials said.  Vail Christian is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and as part of that celebration hosted a concert and fundraiser that raised more than $260,000. Money raised at the event, "Nashville Legends Live!," will help fund academics, art, athletics, student scholarships and continued education for VCHS teachers.www.fundraising-ideas.org 

Annual St. Baldrick's Fundraising Event


Macomb, IL – Western Illinois University's Tanner Hall will once again sponsor the annual St. Baldrick's fundraising event for childhood cancer from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in Tanner Circle on University Drive.  The event challenges participants to either shave their heads, volunteer time, or donate to give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any other organization except the U.S. government. www.fundraising-ideas.org

Sixth Annual AVM Golf Outing/Dinner and Concert Fundraising Event


Northborough, MA — Assabet Valley Mastersingers announced that the sixth annual AVM Golf Outing / Dinner and Concert, a fundraising event, will be held May 21 at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club. Art Auction Fundraiser
