Friends Throw Golf Fundraiser for Ailing Avid Fundraiser

Coventry, Ireland - Jim Roche, known locally as ‘Roachy’, is a familiar face and avid fundraiser for good causes across the region, but a recent stroke has left him bedridden. So friends have organized a charity fundraising day to help raise cash to support the Dublin-native and his family through his condition.  Friend and event organizer Tony Carey explained: “Throughout my time knowing Roachy, he has always been honest, reliable, respected and never turned down a request for help – but most of all, he is the life and soul of any room that he enters.” He added: “But due to recent poor health, it is now time for us to raise some support for the man himself.” So the community will come together to support Mr Roche and his family at a fundraising golf day and social evening – the proceeds of which will be donated to the family to aid his care and health. www.fundraising-ideas.org
