GA - The Samaritan Center is bringing a splash of color to Athens with its
Classic City Color Run. Anyone is invited to participate in the inaugural event
hosted at Bishop Park. The run will take place completely within the park and
is open to all ages. The Samaritan Center
is a nonprofit organization that provides mental health services to
underprivileged people in the Athens-Clarke County area. The center is looking
to raise at least $100,000 in conjunction with other fundraising events held
throughout the year. The center has never hosted an event of its kind
before, and is hopeful for success. “I think this is the first color run in
Athens,” said Justin Huff, board director of public relations and fundraising
