Crookston, MN - The Vila St. Vincent/The SUMMIT
2nd Glow Ball Golf Scramble fund-raiser took place Saturday at Crookston's
Minakwa Golf Course. Proceeds benefited the drive-through entrance project. A
first round was played in the late afternoon and, after everyone enjoyed a
baked potato bar, a second round was played in the dark with glow balls and the
course lit up in neon.Lori Wagner,
Villa Foundation director, was still tallying the numbers on Monday. This
year's fundraising goal was $8,500, she said, adding that's she's confident the
goal was met. Last year, the goal was $5,000, and $6,062 was raised www.fundraising-ideas.org
