Day at the Races Fundraiser

Lithgow, Australia - There’re some good ways to raise funds for the less disadvantaged … and then there’re some fun ways.  One of the fun ways was Lithgow Quota’s latest fundraiser for deaf and hearing impaired children in the Lithgow area — a bus trip to the Rosehill Races.  Included in the bus trip was entry to the races, under cover three course wining and dining with access to the TAB and outside viewing areas. Fifteen Quota members invited husbands and friends to come along, with more than 60 making the trip.  The race winners were the grinners on the trip home but a great day was had by all with a pleasing amount being raised to go to help deaf and hearing impaired children.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
