Jackson, MI
– Bullying, teasing, isolation – these events often happen to middle school
children in the Jackson area.In an
effort to combat this, the Martin Luther King Diversity Committee designed the
"Middle School Challenge" Fundraiser to empower students and create a
culture of kindness at area schools. The program draws on a one-day
experiential workshop called "Challenge Day."To help pay for students to attend the annual
Challenge Day in November, the MLK Diversity Committee will host their 13th
annual MLK breakfast on Friday at Gene
Davis & Sons.Tickets to the
breakfast are $25 per person. www.fundraising-ideas.org
