"An Evening With the Author" Fundraisng Event

Cedartown, GA - The Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy of Polk County hosted its second annual “Evening with the Authors” fundraiser last month.  Monies to fund this endeavor, held at Stone Creek Inn, were raised by the local community action team.  The Ferst Foundation provides books to Polk County preschool children to help prepare them for reading and learning success upon entering school. Children receive one age-appropriate book per month from the time they are registered until they age 5. There is no cost to the family.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
