Austin, TX - The
Westbank-based Central Texas chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation again
partnered with locally and nationally-recognized chef Paul Qui for the recent
Qui to the Cure fundraiser. Garnering
awards from the James Beard Foundation, Top Chef, GQ, Bon Appetit, Esquire,
Food & Wine magazines, Qui lent his celebrity name and culinary talents to
the fourth annual event. The sold out
event was held at Brazos Hall, with 550 revelers enjoying the festivities. They
posed for photos by Flipside and enjoyed the Tito’s Vodka rooftop after-party.
DJ Rich spun tunes, and the five-piece band, the Roosevelts, played indie-folk,
alt-country and bluesy rock. F2Floral decorations were roses and orchids. www.fundraising-ideas.org
