Animal Advocates of Carroll County are celebrating Carroll's past while
supporting animals' futures Thursday, with a special fundraising event at The
Liberty Roller Skate Center in Sykesville.
According to Laura Shenk, with the Animal Advocates, this fundraiser
came about as a fun way to raise money for the organization, while supporting
the nostalgia of many of the members who remember skating there back in the
