Plymouth, MA —
Plymouth North High School will host the Plymouth Public School’s third annual
Empty Bowls fundraising event by teaming up against hunger with South Shore
Community Action Council on May 4.
“Empty
Bowls” is an international movement in which local communities seek to raise
awareness about hunger worldwide while raising funds for area food pantries. Hundreds
of potters, craftspeople, teachers, students and area seniors hand-decorated
over 300 ceramic bowls at Plymouth North High School, Plymouth South High
School and Claychick studio. These pieces of art will be handed out to the
guests at the event as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world.
