Gamma Mu Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority brought the Harlem Renaissance
to life at a fundraising event Saturday night on the campus of the University
of South Carolina Upstate. Performers
from Spartanburg showcased their talents in poetry, singing and dance during
“Harlem Renaissance and Beyond — Celebration in Poetry and Song.” Many of the
spectators dressed in 1920s-era clothing or in old fraternity and sorority
