— E.M. Yoder Elementary School students are racing for a cause.The school hosted its first Walk for Wisdom fundraisier
on Friday to raise money for library books and solar lights for the Nyarweng
Primary School in Ruweng State, South Sudan, as part of their first year as one
of the Alamance-Burlington School System’s global schools.The event kicked off with an Olympics-style
opening ceremony, involving a parade of homemade flags for each continent, and
continued throughout the day as grade levels took turns racing, running and
walking to raise the money their parents, friends and family members pledged
