6 Squared Fundraising Event

Paris, TX -- A fundraising event showcasing artwork from across the U.S., known as 6 Squared, kicks off Saturday at the Gibraltar Hotel in Paris. Paris Main Street has been collecting 6 by 6 canvases since June, and has received more than 750 back from people as far and New York and California, and of course throughout Paris. Each canvas will be sold for $20, but donations will be accepted. All the money raised will go toward funding a new public restroom in downtown Paris.  Paris Main Street has raised about $10,000 of the $45,000 it needs.  Cheri Bedford with Paris Main Street says, this is a great way for residents to come together and raise money for their community.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
