Friday, John Moats reached for golf clubs instead of his police uniform as he
participated in the 24th annual Fore the Kids Golf Scramble Fundraiser at Rea
Park Golf Course. Moats, chief deputy
sheriff at the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department, had the afternoon off to
participate in the scramble, which is the largest fundraising event for the
Vigo County Education Foundation. Jane
