Schnauzerfest Fundraising Event Specific to the Breed

Barry Island, Wales - Barry Island has been taken over by a sea of dogs.  But don't worry, it's all for a good cause.  More than 100 Schnauzers and their owners took to the seaside as part of an annual dog walking fundraising event specifically for that breed.  Schnauzerfest, which is now it's third year, is a national collection of fundraising events.  The blue skies held out for the massive dog walking event, which kicked off at Marcos Cafe on the promenade and was one of the biggest of its kind throughout the country.  The events include walks and other social gatherings with owners and their pooches - with Barry Island holding one of the biggest.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
