Opelika, AL - The
5th Annual Signature Chefs Auction of East Alabama far surpassed its
fundraising goal Thursday, bringing in more than $75,000. The total was $33,000
more than organizers anticipated. Guests
sampled and voted for their favorite dishes crafted by 10 area chefs at the
Auburn University Hotel & Dixon Conference Center. New to this year’s
event, chefs were paired with local celebrities as their sous chefs to create
