Pleasanton, CA - The
third annual fundraising event, Party for the Pooches, to support
Pleasanton-based Valley Humane Society was held on Saturday at a private
residence in Pleasanton. The event raised more than $16,000, with 100% of
proceeds presented to Valley Humane Society.
The event’s 200 attendees, who included local city officials and
dignitaries, were treated to a festive evening with new and old friends. Guests
dined on pizza catered from a wood-fired pizza oven, sipped on Livermore Valley
wines and enjoyed jazz music performed by a live band in a serene backyard
patio setting. The best was saved for last, when scrumptious desserts were
