Ipswich,
UK - Radio
presenter Wayne Bavin is facing a life behind bars for crimes against comedy –
unless he can raise £999 for a children’s charity.The
entertainer has agreed to take part in a ‘Jail and Bail’ fundraising event for
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH). The unlikely duo of the radio host
and Colchester businessman James Fisher, an industrial sales director at Fläkt
Woods, will be detained by officers in the mock police crackdown on Suffolk and
Essex ‘bigwigs’.They are due to be
found guilty by Judge David Goodin at Ipswich Crown Court and punished with an
order of each raising £999 for EACH. www.fundraising-ideas.org
