Light the Night Walk Fundraiser

The Woodlands, TX - Friends, families and community leaders from throughout Montgomery County joined together for an event whose objective is to aid victims of cancer and fund clinical research toward finding a cure – and they took some big steps toward achieving that goal.  An estimated crowd of nearly 3,000 participants turned out for the annual Montgomery County Light the Night Walk fundraising event in the Market Street area of The Woodlands on Sunday in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. "We have more than 200 corporate, family and volunteer teams participating," said Tina Daugherty, co-chair of the event.
