Caldwell NJ—After helping the football team from James Caldwell High
earn back-to-back state championships as a member of the Class of 1999, Justin
Fountain decided not to play football when he studied business management at
Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Despite
that fact, this Sunday you will be able to find the former inside linebacker
playing football on the field at MetLife Stadium. Why? Because Fountain is helping his wife, Nicole,
fundraise for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) through an
event called A Touch of Football for CCFA.
The event features seven-on-seven touch football games on the
famous field between teams comprised of people from all walks of life, from
corporate executives to former athletes, some of whom are afflicted with
Crohn’s or Colitis and most of whom are not. The day also includes unique
stadium tours and other festivities and is designed for both players and their
fans and friends.
