Bastrop, TX - The
Children’s Advocacy Center is offering local residents an opportunity to enjoy
a unique night out while supporting the nonprofit in its mission to provide
children with a neutral, multidisciplinary approach to the investigation,
prosecution, intervention and treatment of child abuse. The advocacy center is offering up to 56
residents a chance to experience a three-course meal at one of seven local
houses in Bastrop — each selected due to its own unique pull — before wrapping
up the evening at Bastrop High School’s Jerry Fay Wilhelm Center for the
Performing Arts Center for entertainment and dessert. Guzman noted that among
the houses featured in the event, one had been the site of a Julia Roberts
film, another had hosted Sam Houston, and a third had been a source of several
ghost sightings. The cost to attend the event will run at $100 per person,
which will include the three-course meal, wine, and dessert and entertainment
at the PAC Center. www.fundraising-ideas.org
