For Life, a fundraising event hosted by the American Cancer Society, will bring
dog owners and their pets together in the fight against cancer. The
noncompetitive 3-mile walkathon will raise funds for the American Cancer
Society while celebrating the bond between people and their dogs. In addition to the walk, the event will
feature a variety of activities for dogs and owners alike, such as demonstrations,
an owner/dog look-a-like contest and vendors. There will also be prizes for the
top fundraising dogs. Bark For Life is a community event that will honor the
care-giving qualities of dogs. Both teams
