Kinmel Bay, North
Wales - Simon Acton, owner of the Unit One Cafe in Kinmel Bay, helped
organize the motorcycle ride v fundraising event - which was from Kinmel Bay to
Blaenau Ffestiniog - to raise money for Ava Evans, who suffers from Spastic
Diplegic Cerebral Palsy.
The little
girl’s family have launched a huge fundraising bid to raise £80,000. The money
will allow Ava to have an operation in America to remove spasticity in her legs
so she can eventually learn to walk unaided.
More than 30 bikers took part in the
motorcycle ride and each person that took part donated. A raffle is also being
held for Ava’s plight tonight; Steve Jonseies motorcycles are raffling off a
brand new RS-35 helmet.
