Worthington, MN — When April 25
arrives, more than 200 Worthington High School (WHS) students will be decked
out in formal attire — the girls in sequined, colorful gowns to match their
carefully coiffed hair and the boys in tuxedos or suit jackets brightened with
boutonnieres. But on Sunday morning, about a dozen WHS juniors and seniors were
wrapped in workaday aprons and sported sensible shoes as they cleared syrupy
tables and served sausages at the Worthington Elks Lodge during a pancake
breakfast fundraising event held to raise money for the annual school prom.
