Terre Haute, IN - A popular fundraising event in Terre Haute recently reached an amazing threshold. "Dancing with the Terre Haute Stars" is hosted by Chances and Services for Youth. All the money raised goes to the non-profit organization and its many programs that affect more than just the kids in the Wabash Valley.  CASY has held this event for nine years now. After tallying in this year, the fundraiser has brought in over a million dollars’ worth of donations, a number that CASY officials never thought they'd reach so soon. Snoop Dogg Coaches Youth Football at Fundraiser in Arizona

Phoenix, AZ-   Rapper Snoop Dogg turned football coach in Arizona over the weekend.  Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr., coached his youth football team in a fundraising charity game.  It was all to help raise money for a food bank. Thousands of fans showed up to watch.  To the kids, Snoop Dogg says he's a coach, first and foremost.  "I think I'm a coach,” he said. “I'm a life coach more than anything. Recruitment Company Breaks Fundraising Record

Peterborough, England - A Peterborough recruitment company gave a well above par performance when they broke their fundraising record on a golf day for Magpas.  Peterborough based recruitment specialists, The One Group, visited the Magpas Operations Base yesterday to present £50,000 to the charity. The One Group have broken their all-time annual fundraising target, by raising over £12,000 in their eighth annual corporate Lifesavers Golf Day where, almost one hundred business representatives gathered at John O’ Gaunt Golf Club in Sandy.  www.fundraising-ideas.org 

Lego Creative Challenage Fundraising Event

Abbotsford, BC - The fifth annual Lego Creative Challenge fundraising event for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice kicks off Saturday at Sevenoaks Shopping Centre.  The event will see businesses from around the Fraser Valley showcase their creative and philanthropic spirit by building Lego sculptures and donating to Canuck Place.  Corporate Lego creations will be judged by Sevenoaks shoppers and celebrity judges, including Mayor Henry Braun, Vancouver Canucks mascot Fin, and Lego certified professional Robin Sather.  www.fundraising-ideas.org

Tucson, AZ - Interested in painting, sipping some suds and helping a good cause at the same time? An Evening of Cabaret Fundraising Event at Oak

New Orleans, LA - An Evening of Cabaret is a fundraising event being held this Monday to benefit The Kristin Brooks Hopeline and its program VET2VET, a veteran crisis hotline that puts veterans in touch with trained veteran peer counselors to help them obtain mental health support and navigate the V.A. system.  The event will feature performances by actors such as Kerry Cahill, Leslie Castay, Mandi Zirkenback, John Biguenet, and more.
