Fremont, NE - Crowds
of people wandered throughout Camp Fontanelle’s grounds Sunday afternoon during
the camp's annual fundraising barbecue. Proceeds
from the event go toward funding the numerous camps that are held for youth
during summer months, said Nancy Schoen, event volunteer. One of the day’s highlights consisted of
silent and live auctions, which helps raise funds for the camp's Christian
ministry. Live auction items included:
hand/machine made quilts, the 2015 camp T-shirt signed by 714 campers and a
hat, which has been at the auction for more than 30 years. www.fundraising-ideas.org
