Bud's Run Fundraising Event Lets Youth Groups Raise Money for Whatever Cause They Choose

Lake Villa, IL - Whether you came first or last, it was the participation that was most important at this year's Bud's Run, a 5K run/walk and 10K run through Grant Woods Forest Preserve.  Held at Caboose Park in Lake Villa, the run is different from your typical fundraiser in that several different youth groups participate, each raising funds for their own cause.  Event organizer and Lake Villa Township Supervisor Dan Venturi said even though many different groups are involved in the event, it's pretty straightforward to organize.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
