Muskegon, MI
– When the Reeths-Puffer superintendent put out a call for community support with
fundraising to help the school district, Mike Cooper didn't sit idly by.He took Steve Edwards' appeal seriously, and
established a "Taste of Rocket City" event to help raise money for
classrooms. This is the third year the event will be part of Reeths-Puffer
Schools' back-to-school "Rocket City Games." But this year,
Cooper is taking his event to the next level by moving it inside the stadium
for the first varsity football home game.. Seven restaurants will be on hand selling
their food items and splitting the profits in half with Cooper's volunteer
effort. www.fundraising-ideas.org
