Art Gallery Fundraiser to Build Collection

Maitland, Australia - Maitland Regional Art Gallery's launching its annual fundraising event tonight with the money to go towards building the gallery's collection. The Director's Choice event will see 300 fine art prints and artworks from a number of artists including, Wendy Sharpe, Guy Warren and Charles Blackman up for grabs. Gallery director Joe Eisenberg says previous events have raised more than $40,000 for the gallery. He says whatever amount is raised will be put to good use. "A lot of the money that members raise goes towards our acquisition policy," he said.  www.fundraising-ideas.org
