Millburn, NJ - The Run For The
Red 5K Race & Walk took place on Sunday, December 8, starting at the
Millburn Free Public Library. This fundraising event supports programs and
services to help you, your family, and your neighbors prevent, prepare for and
respond to emergencies. Participants enjoyed a certified course with scoring by
Compuscore, a USATF-NJ Grand Prix Event for 500 points, and a scenic "out
and back" course through the tree-lined streets of the South Mountain
Reservation. There were awards presented for 5K finishers by age group,
fundraising awards for teams, door prizes, a DJ, great snacks and plenty of
fun! Additionally, Red Cross blood donors were provided stickers at the event
day to recognize them as a “Life Saver.”
