Clacton-on-Sea, UK - A St. Osyth
charity set up to fight rare conditions will hold a major fundraising
event.
The DDRD Foundation was set up to
raise awareness of medical condition Dercums, among other rare diseases.
Organizers also work to raise cash for
research and treatments, and have organized a Boogie Night fundraising event. The
70s themed party event will include music and dancing, as well as a buffet,
raffle and fancy dress competition.
Entry will cost £3 per person.
Chairman of the Dercums Disease and Rare Disease Foundation, Samantha
Chapman said: “The charity does absolutely vital work. It can mean the
difference between life and death.
