week, the Friends of the International Quilt Study Center & Museum is
hosting its first Art Market fundraising event at the IQSCM. The Art Market
will feature several artists’ work in the IQSCM reception hall, The museum will be open to the public to view
and to purchase the art on display. Out
of the profits from the Art Market, the artisans will donate 40 percent of
their share to IQSCM. Mary Ourecky,
visitor services supervisor of IQSCM, said the museum hasn’t hosted a
fundraiser like the Art Market. “We’re
