MO. - The Rotary Clubs of Springfield were
recognized for staging the annual Rock’n Ribs BBQ Festival to benefit local
children’s charities. The event received
an award for Outstanding Fundraising Event 2014 at the annual Philanthropy Day
Awards ceremony at Highland Springs Country Club on Tuesday. The award is presented to an organization for
innovative fundraising efforts that engage donors, volunteers, board and staff
to raise funds and further the mission of the organization. The Association of Fundraising Professionals
